Founding and Early Years (2013-2016)

In 2013, Trans Cable was founded and established manufacturing operations in Bonham, Texas. Bonham is located 75 miles North of Dallas, Texas.

We began as a small manufacturer of commercial data cables, primarily serving a select few businesses and industries.

With an initial team of just 7 employees, Trans Cable focused on producing high-quality commercial data cables that could withstand the demands of various commercial applications.

The team’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction quickly earned the company a reputation for reliability and excellence.

Low Voltage Cables Diversification (2017-2019)

In 2017, Trans Cable experienced significant growth, driven by the increasing demand for electrical infrastructure in the United States. We expanded our product line to include Commercial Audio, Security, and Fire Alarm cables. Trans Cable also developed CAT6a UTP CMP cables, which were essential for the increasing high bandwidth data communications industry. This diversification allowed Trans Cable to tap into new markets and secure contracts with major data cable distributors.

By the end of the 2019, Trans Cable had grown to 30 team members and established key partnerships with solid distributors across the country.

Technological Advancements and Global Reach (2020-2021)

The new millennium brought about a wave of technological advancements, and Trans Cable was at the forefront of innovation in the cable manufacturing industry. The company invested heavily in research and development, leading to the creation of cutting-edge products such as high-speed data unshielded and shielded cables and distribution of low-cost Optical Fiber cables. These innovations not only enhanced the performance of Trans Cable's products but also positioned the company as a leader in sustainability.

During this period, Trans Cable also expanded its operations by adding new high temperature extrusion lines and pairing equipment, supporting data cable markets outside the U.S.

This presence allowed Trans Cable to better serve its international clients and capitalize on the growing demand for advanced data cable solutions worldwide.

Strategic Partnerships (2021-2022)

To further solidify its market position, Trans Cable embarked on a series of strategic partnerships with key private label opportunities. We partnered with leading OEM customers to develop next-generation cables for emerging applications such as industrial, transportation and shipboard marine data cables. Trans Cable also embraced digital transformation, leveraging advanced cables to support Internet of Things (IoT) and enhanced its low voltage and Optical Fiber products and operations.

These strategic moves not only enhanced Trans Cable's innovative solutions but also expanded its customer base and market reach.

By the end of 2022 our company was recognized as a UL and Intertek Cable Manufacturer, with a diverse product line and a presence multiple state.

Commitment to Aerospace, Defense and Custom Cable Markets (2023-Present)

Trans Cable continued to prioritize growth and innovation. Trans Cable set ambitious goals to attain AS9100D and ISO 9001 certifications and make a wide presence in the aerospace and defense industries. In May 2024, Trans Cable attains AS9100D and ISO 9001 certification.

Trans Cable expands high temperature extrusion capabilities, tin/nickel/silver plated copper/alloy braiding and adds more capabilities to product products with FEP, PFA, and ETFE insulation/jacketing. Trans Cable improves packaging equipment, adding better spooling and additional Reelex coiling capabilities.

Today, Trans Cable, with 45 team members and growing, is a dynamic and forward-thinking company, dedicated to delivering high-quality custom cable solutions that meet the evolving needs of its customers. With a strong foundation built on years of innovation and growth, Trans Cable is poised to continue leading the industry into the future.
